Camp House - General Information

Available throughout the year.

Accommodation: Sleeps 24

Linen Required: Pillow-case / sheets or sleeping bag. Soiled covers or mattresses require to be reported.

Provisions: Users will provide their own first-aid equipment, dish cloths, tea-towels, hand-towles, toilet-rolls, cleaning agents and refuse bags.

Refuse Bins: Please ensure that the bins are kept clean in order to discourage vermin. On Thursday mornings, the wheelie bins should be placed outside the car-park gates, ready for collection.

Breakages: All breakages or damage in or around the Camp House will be reported. Please do not replace broken articles.

Arrival and Departure: It is expected that all accommodation, equipment and utensils will be cleaned before departure.

Church: The Carlops Church (10:00hrs Sunday service) and West Linton Church (11:15hrs Sunday service) are the nearest. The minister of both Churches is the Rev T Burt, The Manse, West Linton, Telephone 01968 660 221.

Medical Services: Peniculk Medical Practice, 37 Imrie Place, Penicuik, Midlothian, Telephone 01968 679 713. An 'Accident Book' is provided to record any accidents.

Adjacent Land: The surrounding fields and woods are private property. All groups are asked to behave, be orderly ensure that they cause no nuisence or inconvenience to local residents.

Smoking: Is not permitted within the house, (Scottish Law 26-March-2006). Pets or Fires are not permitted.

Health & Safety: Complient with current Health and Safety regulations.

Reservations: Bookings can be made on-line at anytime.

Tarrif: £10:00 per person per night, with a minimum booking of 10 persons. Day only charge - £35.00

Non-Returnable booking fee 25% of total cost. Cancellation must be made at least 28 days prior to date of entry. If less than 28 days notice is given, a minimum charge of 50% of balance due will apply.

Gas and Electricity are charged separately at Calor Gas - 34p per litre, Electricity - 13p per unit. Meter readings are recorded on arrival and departure.
